WAN Analysis Performance test

To use the WAN Analysis feature you will need another Peplink router or Fusionhub to act as server to perform the test.



Server side - WAN Analysis server (The device you need to perform the test to)


Step 1: Login into the web interface and go to System > WAN Analysis.



Step 2: Click on on the button next to As a server



Step 3: This will start the WAN Analysis server so you will be able to test WAN Analysis clients. 


Make sure that the Control Port is forwarded and not blocked if the Peplink router or Fusionhub is behind another router or firewall. 

The IP Address under WAN Connection Status might not be the public IP address when the Peplink router or Fusionhub is behind another router, firewall or modem



Client side - WAN Analysis Client (the device you want to test)


Step 1: Login into the web interface and go to System > WAN Analysis.


Step 2: Click on on the button next to As a client


Step 3: In the Client settings section you can set your desired settings for the test. on the Data Streams section you can choose the WAN interface you want to test and in the Remote IP Address field you fill in the public IP address of the WAN Analysis server.
